For The Future:

exploring the work of tomorrow, today.

Austin | March 10th, 2019

“You can’t trust your judgment if your imagination is out of focus”

Mark Twain

Do you ever wonder…

How emerging technologies such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing, Drones and more are radically changing how things get done?

And how your unique talents and passions line up with what needs to be created and shaped ahead?

What the world of work will look like 5 or 10 years from now?

Then join us on Sunday March 10th, 2019 for a dynamic, highly participatory and enlightened career fair of the future, designed specifically for college + high school students.

Converging with the talent in town for SXSW, tech experts, futurists, industry leaders, designers and students will dive into a series of discussions on how life in a city will change, how entertainment, shopping and business will shift, how we’ll build things in whole new ways … and a lot more. And we’ll explore what this means for the jobs and talents needed (and likely not) in the future.

This is a unique taste of the future designed for busy students

  • There will be four distinct 2hr sessions and you can register for as many or as few as you like. Registration will open mid-January.
  • The event is free for College and High School Students. Adults will be admitted as space is available prior to each session.
  • It will take place at the new, oh so cool Austin Central Library on Cesar Chavez.

Curiosity and Connection are the key to the future.

SXSW is an amazing festival of ideas and emerging experiences that encourages attendees imagine what they can create ahead. Unfortunately, it’s not accessible for most students, so we figured we’d create something just for you. A unique experience designed to inform, inspire and empower your career, learning and life choices ahead. Not a bad way to spend a day, right?
