Always a step ahead, Emma launched her award-winning online sustainable beauty retailer, Futurenatural, in 2007. And as Marketing Director for an air-purifier company, she reshaped the brand to tap into the cultural zeitgeist (and growing concerns) that air quality is pivotal to everyone’s wellness and health. Her passion for helping others see the potential ahead fueled her roles as Strategic Editor for futurist blog Cultural Acupuncture, Creative Director for GigaomChange—an exec conference for enterprise leaders eager to learn more about the exponential technologies reshaping our economy—and as co-founder of the recently launched Femme Futurists Society.
Fascinated with the ways exponential technologies are changing the world and their potential to elevate all living systems, her current work leading communication, connection and community for global futurist Nancy Giordano, the Career Fair For The Future and futurist consultancy Play Big Inc is one of her most fulfilling roles yet.
When not trying to inspire those to build a thriving world ahead, Emma loves spending time with her twin boys. On any given weekend they can be found on dirt bikes, BMX riding and wakeboarding.

Having left SXSW after a tenure as a Senior Conference team member who assisted in the development and launch of the SXSW Interactive Festival each year, Kathryn is now using her finely honed skills in event curation, managing key business partnerships, and organization to help produce such events as Et Cultura, MULTICOIN SUMMIT, Kasasa Nation, Gigaom Change, TechCrunch Disrupt NYC, and The 2016 Austin Reggae Festival.
Apart from her passion for event planning, which ultimately aides in her love of acting as a connector within the community, she spends her off hours doting on her daughter and dog.
In a former life, Kathryn put her foundation of talents to the test and founded the method. Hair salon, named by ELLE Magazine as one of the “Top 100 Salons in the US” in 2009.

As a recent graduate from university, Zamira Soza (also known as Mida), is ecstatic to be a part of Play Big Inc, working closely with Nancy Giordano and the team in her first professional role in production and content.
Zamira’s background consists of combining the spiritual and scientific by studying metaphysical thought, social theories, and political/socio-economic theory. With these curiosities, her purpose has formed itself around the question of how we can make life on Earth better for all inhabitants through a sociological and spiritual lens. Weaving all that she’s learned in academia, including the extractive corporate effects on climate change, she is passionately committed to shifting current paradigms and embracing the opportunities that exist to create a better world.
While studying for a B.S. in Sociology, she funded herself to study abroad in Haifa, Israel to learn more about Middle Eastern Feminism, politics, and economy. She continues to fuel her curiosity for the world around her through global travel and her work with Play Big Inc.
